A Day on the Beach

We have been having a bit of a heatwave this week, so to make the most of it She Who Thinks She Must Be Obeyed decided we would spend the day on the beach today. We took my sausages to play with and I carried them,

 retrieved them,

 Brrrrr that was cold,

  guarded them

 and dug a hole to put them in.

There was a black labrador who did lots of swimming and when his dad wanted to go home he wouldn't come out of the water. His dad walked off and left him and he just stood in the water wagging his tail, so his dad came back for him  but he still wouldn't come out. In the end he came over to see me and She Who Thinks She must Be Obeyed caught him, but there was lots of deep water in between us and his dad and his dad didn't have any swimmers on, (he had proper clothes on) so She Who Thinks She Must Be Obeyed had to take him back because she did have swimmers on and she did her first swimming of the year in the sea. She won't let me have the camera so there are no pics to prove it!!!

 Then just as She Who Thinks She Must Be Obeyed was getting bored with throwing my sausages for me (!!!) my friends Meg and Daniel arrived, here's Daniel shaking hands, isn't he handsome?

 Daniel and Meg went to get their ball while I looked after my sausages.

 This big ball came floating down the stream all by itself, so Daniel looked after it.

 And then let it go again.

We had a good day on the beach today, but then we had to come home again and now I'm very tired.
