Control of Dogs( Wales) Bill

She Who Thinks She Must Be Obeyed went to a seminar on Dog Law held by Aberporth and District dog club on Saturday. The speaker was from the Dogs Trust and his prepared speech had been upset by the governments announcement of proposed changes to the laws concerning dogs in England and Wales. While there are some changes which may be good there are a couple that he was very worried about and encouraged everyone there to go to the following link http://wales.gov.uk/docs/drah/consultation/121122dangerousdogsregsen.pdf and respond to it before it is too late.
She Who Thinks She Must Be Obeyed has printed it all out but has NOT got round to reading it all properly yet, which is very bad, but she tells me as far as she understands from what was said if anyone even THINKS I am going to hurt them whether I am outside or even in my garden I can be reported as a Dangerous Dog and if anyone thinks I am going to hurt any protected animal (anyones pet, even a kitty!) I can be reported as well. Which means I can be KILLED and She Who Thinks She Must Be Obeyed can be locked up!
So if any of my friends in Wales are as worried about the current attitude to us k9s they might like to click on the link and read it all for themselves and respond as they think fit before it is too late.
Thankyous all.

A trip to Mwnt

Last Thursday She Who Thinks She Must Be Obeyed decided that the fields we usually walk in were too wet and muddy, so we went on the bus to Mwnt for a change.
Here I am waiting for the bus, it took such a long time to come I thought we'd missed it.

We hadn't, here I am on the bus.
When we got off we had 11/2 miles to walk along the lanes. I put She Who Thinks She Must Be Obeyed on her leading rope so she didn't get run over.
Must leave some pee mail.

Danger! Go back! The cliffs will fall on us!

Falling waters
The tractors working in the field are digging up cartloads of SWEDE.. yuk.

And here are some of the scenics we saw on the way home.

WE had to walk ALL the way home our paws were really aching by then,  the bus passed us just as we got back to our road and the bus driver waved to us as he went past!

(Sorry it took She Who Thinks She Must Be Obeyed so long to post this but the compooter wouldn't let her put the piccies in the right places and she got cross with it and you all know what happens then!)

Well folks if yous all click on the following link you can go to Anna the GSD's bloggie and enter her spectacular tongue-tacular competition. All you have to do is get your human to take a piccie of your tongue. Haven't yous all wanted to stick out your tongue WITHOUT BEING TOLD NOT TO BE SO RUDE? Well nows your chance!
http://annathegsd.blogspot.co.uk/
Sara wants to know if she can enter your contest Anna, or is it just for pepes with paws? She really would like to be included as she's been out of action with a sandcrack in her front hoof  since April and she's feeling a bit bored and fed up so if she can enter it might cheer her up a bit.
This piccie was taken when she was an itty bitty foal and didn't have any manners, she's 10 now and still sticks her tongue out.

Dead Man's Gulch

There was a strange yellow light in the sky this morning and come to think about it the sky was a strange blue colour. What was happening? Is it possible that the SUN was shining?

She Who Thinks She Must Be Obeyed put on her grippy sole feet and said 'Come on Finn, we're going for a walk before it starts raining again'.

We set off across the field of sheep at the end of our road. We do this walk nearly every day so I wasn't too excited.

OOOH soak up that sun, it's SOOO good to feel those rays on your furs after all that rain.
You must be joking Mum, you really want to go down that way? That's not the way we usually go! We'll go slippy slidy into the sea if we go down there.

Action shot of She Who Thinks She Must Be Obeyed Slipping on that horrible scary path, it's a good job I got you on my leading rope Mum or you would have gone SPLASH into the sea!

Look at those falling waters, they be full up with all the rain we've been having lately.
Then they go to fill the sea up!
We are now deep in Dead Man's Gulch. It be very dark and scary down here, the sun can't get here. I don't like it, this is were I had my big adventure last year when the dolphins came to try to rescue me when I jumped down on the beach ( which is hiding under those waters) and couldn't get back up again.

That's better we're back up in the sun again now. The ground is VERY muddy, even though the sun is shining. It will have to shine a lot to dry up all the mud.
look how muddy my tummy has got.

Here's a stream to wash my furs in and get clean again.
