Falling Waters and Rawks.

Despite the weather we have had a good week this week. We've been to Aberporth beach two times and I have sploshed round the fields between showers. On Thursday though the weather was grey but dry. The tide was right so after we'd fed the horses we got the bus to Patch.
When we got there the tide was out a really long way much further than usual although there was some waters where there shouldn't be any.
Lucky it was only the garage getting it's feet wet!
There was a poor broken boat washed up where it shouldn't be as well.
 Look what I found.
A pink ring thing.
 Finders keepers.
You can play with my ring thing but I want it back after.
There were lots of falling waters. This one was bringing loads of mud off the cliff and making the water an orangy brown colour. She Who Thinks She Must Be Obeyed threw my ring thing on to this rawk and I had to do mountaineering to get it back!
 More falling waters.
 And some more.
 Falling waters and a cave.
Some one has made steps in the rawks here.

What a lot of falling waters.

Look at the patterns on these rawks.

I found a narly old bit of wood to sit on before we went home.
We're up on the road here looking down on where we've just been. There's Poppit beach the other side of the river.
I'm not going another step. I'm waiting in the bus shelter for the bus to take me home!

On the bus at last.

Another Way Home

She Who Thinks She Must Be Obeyed is turning into a real couch potato with all this rain we are having, so when we woke up this morning and it wasn't raining I decided to make her take me for a decent walk. We had to feed the horses first so we got the bus to the field.
I had to make sure everyone behaved themselves.

Sara said it was very tasty and could she have some more please.
As we were leaving we met Jasmine. She is a miniature dachshund and she is very small, even smaller than Holly was when she first came to stay with us.
She Who Thinks She Must Be Obeyed was fed up with the beach .(how can you get fed up with the beach? ) So we came home a different way.
We went past the cemetery with the war memorial.
Here's a scenic of the way we were going.
We found smelly places where I caught up with the latest pee_mail

Wet places where I got my furs wet
Wet places I wasn't allowed to get my furs wet!
And muddy places.
We stopped at this scenic for refreshments
 Oxtail soup.

It was very good.
We found more wet places.
We went through a field where the sheep watched us go by.

We found more muddy places

Whose paws are the muddiest?
Look how muddy I am.

I found a stick to destroy.

The walk was just under 6 kilometers and once again we just got back before it started to rain again.

A Sunny Sunday on the beach

There was a strange yellow object in the sky this morning so She Who Thinks She Must Be Obeyed packed our lunch in her back pack and off we set on an expedition. We had to go and feed the horses first and as there are no buses on a Sunday we set off on the road to Aberporth. Horses fed we carried on along the road to Tresaith.

Last time we were here the sea had stolen all the sand in the storms we had been having but it is starting to return it again now .
She Who Thinks She Must Be Obeyed was talking to some people who thought I was rather handsome and while she was talking to the lady the man was playing with me . Then my friend Oscar the whippet arrived and we had a bit of a chase around but he is a lot faster than me and he went off to play with someone else.
We started back along the cliff path to Aberporth.

We stopped at a picnic table to have our lunch. She Who Thinks She Must Be Obeyed had coleslaw sandwiches and crisps. ..yuk and I had my chewy sticks. ...nom nom nom.

While we were eating Oscar came along and we said hello again can you see him hiding from the camera?
Then we headed back to Aberporth beach and I did swimming and digging before we made our way up Punishment hill home.

We were out for almost 5 hours altogether and did 10.98 kilometers which sounds a lot more impressive than saying it in miles! !!By the time we got back the yellow thing in the sky was hiding behind grey clouds again and by the time She Who Thinks She Must Be Obeyed had got the fire lit it was raining again.
