Sun sea and Bella. (And a bit of rain)
Yesterday after we had fed the horses we went on the cliff path and 'Hey mum we're going the wrong way' but we weren't. Instead of going home across Aberporth beach we went to Tresaith. The tide was out a bit more than last time we were there but not a lot. We saw the baby falling waters one end of the beach and the BIG falling waters the other end of the beach. Some one had left a fishing net spread out on the sand to catch fishes and unwary dogs but although I luv the water I is no dog fish and it wasn't about to catch me!
Then as we was walking back across the beach who is this coming on the beach. It's my furrend Bella. 'Hi Bella, come and play'.we had a great time playing in the water then it started to rain and we went back to Bella's place for water and noms (thank you Bella) and Bella's mum drove us home in her dogmobile.

Howlloween
Hope you all had a happy Howlloween and didn't get too fritted by all those ghosts and ghoulies roaming round last night. She Who Thinks She Must Be Obeyed kept the door firmly shut but these 3 managed to break in!
The night before I was dozing by the fire, , Smudge was asleep on the chair in the kitchen and She Who Thinks She Must Be Obeyed was watching the gogglebox when BANG -BANG-BANG-BANG. I jumped a zillion feet in the air and Smudge shot into the living room and hid behind the sofa. Was this a terrorist attack, were we all going to be blown up? She Who Thinks She Must Be Obeyed shut the living room door and we went to the front door to see what was happening. I'll protect you from the nasty terrorists mum. Guess what we saw when we opened the door. ......people across the road were letting off their pretties early we stood on the doorstep watching them but Smudge didn't come out from behind the sofa till 6 o'clock the next morning. This is a really scary time of year for our purry friends.

Tresaith to Aberporth
Today was very windy with squally showers but She Who Thinks She Must Be Obeyed put on her boots and waterproof coat and we set off on another adventure. We had to feed the horses first but after they had finished their noms we carried on to Tresaith. We haven't been there all summer as She Who Thinks She Must Be Obeyed didn't think I was allowed on the beach with the holiday makers (she was wrong. I could have gone on half the beach. ) As soon as we got there it started to rain and we had the beach to ourselves but the tide wasn't out far enough to get to the falling waters so we went back along the cliff path to Aberporth. She Who Thinks She Must Be Obeyed worked out that the whole walk was 8 miles but we had a lift up the hill from the beach so we only did about 7.

Llechryd to Cilgerran
Auntie Jane took us in her dogmobile again this afternoon. We went to Llechryd and walked along the river to Cilgerran and I got my furs wet in the river today. The river runs through a deep valley were they used to do a lot of quarrying. The river used to be very deep but they filled it up with waste slate and the only boats that can go up there now are canoes and coracles.
The leaves were all crunchy under foot and made lots of exciting noises as She Who Thinks She Must Be Obeyed was kicking them for me to chase. The trees here were more colourful than those we saw yesterday. We saw some ducks on the river but nothing else as Auntie Jane and She Who Thinks She Must Be Obeyed were making too much noise talking as we walked.
Bald Puppy wasn't with us today so I didn't get a chance to see if he dropped any treats Anna.

Llanarchaeron part 2
Llanarchaeron is an 18th century Welsh gentry estate which has survived almost unchanged. If I had been allowed to go in I could have shown you inside the house and walled garden which used to grow produce for the estate which was self sufficient. The home farm is still a working farm with Welsh black cows, Llwenog sheep and rare Welsh pigs.
The Villa was designed in the 1790's by John Nash. It has it's own service courtyard, dairy, laundry, brewery and salting house.
John Nash was born on the 18th January 1752 the son of a Welsh millwright. He was also responsible for Regent St in London and Buckingham Palace and also the Royal Pavilion in Brighton. He died 13th May 1835.
But after walking 1.5 miles with the Bald Puppy we had to turn round and go back because there was a sign which said no dogs . Which was probably just as well as we didn't get back to the car till nearly 4 o'clock and none of us had had any lunch. So Auntie Jane and She Who Thinks She Must Be Obeyed and Bald Puppy had fish and chips and I had a pouch of cat food.
