The next day

I was very tired this morning after looking after my friends yesterday but not too tired to get my furs wet this afternoon!

Party time

Every year Auntie Ann, , Beryl and She Who Thinks She Must Be Obeyed have lunch together on their barkdays. This year went a bit wrong what with Beryl moving and She Who Thinks She Must Be Obeyed falling off her horse so we're a bit late doing our lunch but better late than never.
Beryl was going to spend the day with us so yesterday She Who Thinks She Must Be Obeyed spent most of the day in the kitchen. Of course she didn't tell me what was going on (a surprise she says) So it was pretty boring yesterday. But when Beryl arrived with Tansy and Sooty we went to Penbryn, now the holiday people have gone we get to go on the beach again. Hurray! ! We had a good run on the beach and got our furs wet and when we got back Ann and Simon arrived.
We had to be good while the hoomans were having their noms but between us Sooty and me managed to keep Simon in the corner. After lunch we went in the living room and Simon wouldn't get off the sofa. Look at that naughty Sooty. He kept pushing Simon onto Ann. Then he raided my toy box and when Smudge looked through the window he was all over the back of the sofa trying to get to him.
It was good seeing my friends again.

Last of the summer sun

The summer is drawing to an end so yesterday we decided to spend the afternoon on Aberporth beach as it was such a lovely day. I did digging and swimming and we played with my sausages and my floaty aqua toy.

Feeding the horses

Well it's that time of year again when the horses need extra food every day and today I decided to go with She Who Thinks She Must Be Obeyed just to make sure she remembered what to do . Imshi has to have his outside the field because Bobby bullies him. Bobb.y doesn't need anything because he's fat and doesn't do anything. Sara just has carrots because she's quite fat as well.
After the horses have been fed we had a run round the other field while we were waiting for the bus. Last time we were here it was covered in yellow flowers now it's all brown with seed heads on the plants

Mud, mud glorious mud

My friend Bella came to see me today. I haven't seen her for AGES. We went to the field at the end of my road and had a glorious time splashing in the ditch and getting covered in mud and being the generous pooches we are we just had to share it with our people.

Another adventure on the bus.

Yesterday we went to Newport. This was a big adventure because apart from Mother's Day when Scott took us it was the first time we'd been there in 6 YEARS! !! ! We had to get 2 busses again and when we got on the second one I didn't know where we were going! We got there in time for lunch. She Who Thinks She Must Be Obeyed had brought noms for us but she took ages to eat hers I told her to hurry up cos we be wasting good walking time. So she put my walking rope on so she could enjoy her lunch in peace. ...well really! !!!
When she finally finished we set off along the estuary and across the sand dunes to the big beach. I had a good run and a splash in the sea before we made our way back along the beach.
Well guess what. We missed the bus back! I had told her she took too long eating lunch. She said it didn't matter because the next one linked up with the bus in Cardigan so we walked along the river and saw a humongous fish from the bridge and read about the old castle (which we didn't know about)  on a plaque. We took a picie so you can read it too. Then we went back to the bus stop . There were lots of walkers waiting. .14. .would we be able to get on the bus? Would there be room? It was very worrying.
And guess what. ..The bus was 15 minutes late so we missed the connection in Cardigan. Luckily there was one more but we had to wait 40 minutes for it and it was THE LAST BUS HOME.
We got home at 7oclock after leaving at midday. It was a very long day but we enjoyed ourselves. But next time I'll make sure She Who Thinks She Must Be Obeyed doesn't take so long eating!
(Or maybe we won't walk so far! )
