A walk with Auntie Jane

My OWEE is better! I was very sorry for myself all week and didn't want to go out until Friday. We had a quiet walk on Saturday and then yesterday Auntie Jane took us to Llannina.  I haven't been there for about 6 years.
We walked round the woods first like we always used to and I made a new friend called Rupert. The bluebells are still out making a blue carpet through the woods. Auntie Jane got some moss for her hanging baskets and we got her lost. Good job I remembered the way.
Then we crossed the road and went on the beach. It's a long, stony beach and the wind blew very hard and auntie June's ankle was hurting so I said it was time to go back in the car.

OWEE

I've got a big OWEE.
I hurt.
And I'm VERY tired.
We went for a walk round the old saw mill yesterday I had lots of fun. She Who Thinks She Must Be Obeyed threw sticks for me to find in the undergrowth but one landed in the stream. I was so busy watching it that I forgot to jump off the bank and I crashed. I yelped and was a bit winded but after a bit I chased more sticks and was ok. On the way home we stopped at the shop and I waited outside when She Who Thinks She Must Be Obeyed came out my shoulder felt a bit stiff and I walked very slowly. By the evening I couldn't lie down and I have spent the whole night sitting up.

This morning She Who Thinks She Must Be Obeyed tricked me into jumping on the bed and I lay down before I knew what I was doing so if you'll excuse me I'm going to go to sleep now.

Mothers day walk

I was soooo excited on Sunday. It was mothers day and Scott came and took us to Newport in his car. Well you know how I love car rides and we haven't been to Newport since She Who Thinks She Must Be Obeyed lost the car. It was a lovely sunny day and the tide was out. There were some shell ducks in the estuary but I was more interested in looking after Scott as I don't see him as much as I like. We found a little shelter someone had built from drift wood and I went to investigate. We walked through the sand dunes to the car park and then back along the beach.I climbed a massive sand dune but She Who Thinks She Must Be Obeyed was too busy watching me to take a photo as proof I did it! I went swimming and got my furs good and wet to get back in the car.
We went back to Scott's for Sunday lunch and I met the chickens. I tried looking the other way to make them disappear but they made chase me noises and I got shouted at. Life is so unfair.

New girl on the block.

I was just about to go on my morning walk today as this little girl was coming up my road. Isn't she gorgeous?  Well I just had to say hello. Then we walked round the block together and guess what, we met Cai. I think we must form the Parcllyn G.S.D.club.

Tuesday, 18 March 2014

It was a cold,  grey,  wet and windy day today when we were ready to go out this morning so She Who Thinks She Must Be Obeyed put on her winter boots and a wax jacket and decided we would have a good walk this morning and then she could light the fire and be a totally boring couch potato this afternoon!
First we got the bus to the horses. As Imshi is VERY old......30 this year. ......he needs a bit of extra attention. Sara finished hers first and thought he needed a bit of help! But he's very good at keeping her out of his bucket.
When the horses were fed we got the bus to Patch. The sun had come out by now and She Who Thinks She Must Be Obeyed was sorry she'd put so many clothes on! The tide was all wrong as well so we couldn't walk very far on the beach. So we decided to go across the fields to Cardigan.
If you biggify this picture you can see that that flat thing in the water is a boat. It's a replica of the sort of boat they used to take the stone from the Preselli mountains to make Stonhenge all those thousands of years ago. Some students built it last year and were going to recreate the voyage. I don't think I'd like to go all that way in that specially with a load of rocks on board!
Anyway I led the way along the path
And found a muddy place to drink while I was waiting for She Who Thinks She Must Be Obeyed to catch up.
Last time we came this way they woz harvesting the maize in this field. Look at it now.
We had to go through the field with these big beasties in. Although I had She Who Thinks She Must Be Obeyed on her leading rope I kept very close to her just in case they thought she was dangerous and started to chase us. They were very good and just watched as we went past.
Phew.
Look at the primroses in the bank. Spring is here at last.
That's St.Dogmaels over there. We're nearly in Cardigan now.

 Look Celandines as well.
We stopped for some munchies in the park overlooking the netpool when we got to Cardigan.
What is this tree hanging on to? We met someone who said he used to play in it when he was a pup. It looks like people play underneath it now.
I thought we were going to catch the bus home then after all it was getting on for lunch time but guess what, She Who Thinks She Must Be Obeyed took me to the place Where the  V.E.T man lives! Why we going here? I's not ill I don't need no V.E.Tman. but it turned out we only had to pick up some special shampoo for poor old Imshi cos he's got some horrible bitey bugs bugging him. Nasty bugs leave him alone he don't need you bugging him!
She Who Thinks She Must Be Obeyed didn't get to be boring on the sofa this afternoon, she ended up doing some weeding in the garden instead. If I pull any plants up I get told off. .............
